River House

River House is a historic property on the banks of the Macquarie River. Having been only recently acquired, our clients have taken on the significant task of restoring the structure that has not received a great deal of care and bring this wonderful property back to its former glory.

Source Architects were engaged to undertake the restoration and renewal of the house. As part of the restoration work, contemporary services and additional bathrooms have been carefully inserted into the existing structure, and a new living and master bedroom wing added which provides contemporary living and sleeping spaces that open directly to the extensive landscaped gardens.
