Littlebourne

Littlebourne is one of the earliest residences in the Bathurst area, built by Thomas Evenden in the1820’s, with further wings being adding in 1885 by Architect James Hines, with less consequential work taking place in the 1930’s and 1960’s.

Source Architects were engaged to undertake a Masterplan for the important historic and subsequently engaged to undertake the restoration and renewal of the house. As part of the restoration work, contemporary services and additional bathrooms have been carefully inserted into the existing structure, and a new living wing added on the northern side of the house which provides contemporary living spaces that open directly to the extensive landscaped gardens
