Q House

New Residence

Q house design is based on a practical and simple diagram of a living and bedroom wing for a young family home of 4. Sited along the Lachlan River in Forbes, NSW, the project takes the form of 2 simple pitched pavilions connected by an entry gallery. The bedroom and living sections was then separated by a small protected courtyard and turn at this hinge point to make the most of the views out to the floods plains from all aspects of the house.

A clean and robust material palette of brick, glass and concrete shade structures are proposed.
