Amaroo

Amaroo House is a significant new contemporary rural homestead situated on a beautiful working property in central NSW. Made up of two asymmetrical brick clad forms with traditional corrugated galvanized iron roofs, the house incorporates generous living and entertaining areas that open to a pool and amazing landscape gardens by Peter D’Arcy.

The house is one of a number of large rural properties that Source Architects is working on currently that will be completely off grid, employing a substantial PV and battery storage system, and some 500kl of water storage.
