Alteration and Additions
Molded house is a rework of a small workers cottages in Orange, NSW. The site is a modest 450sqm and access to northern light is limited. Aspects of this house are twisted and layered over as a result of the site restrictions. The central courtyard was used to allow direct and indirect northern light into the living area that are set back in the site.The ceiling is folded to match the roof pitch and gives the modest spaces the feeling of a much larger space.
